| READ ME!
There is a basis for every belief. For example, I like to wear briefs and not boxers. Why? Because I don't like the feeling of being naked (boxers) and I like the warmth. Now, that was my "basis".
I've learned in my senior year of college the true "basis" of my belief in Christianity. You could call me ignorant in highschool and middle school for beleiving in a God and Jesus Christ, because I knew nothing of the overwhelming evidence there was in the Bible. But now, I truly believe in Christianity due to the coupling of Biblical/archaeological evidence and faith.
Reasons why I believe in the Jewish God and his Son, Jesus Christ.
- Origins- If the Bible were to make up a religion, why would they claim to know the origin of the world (The first man and woman), the origin of language (Babel), the origin the diet (vegaterian in Genesis), the origin of sin (the fall of man), the origin of God's preserved people (Jews/Israelistes), the origin of prophecy (predicting what is to come about Jesus Christ and the end times), the origin of history and war (Old Testament), the origin of miracles, the origin demon possession, the origin of a spiritual world, the origin of animals/insects/humans, the origin of child birth pains, the origin of weeds, the origin of death, the origin of...(and it continues on)
- Prophecy- The Bible prophesizes 300 times about the coming of Jesus Christ. They were all fulfilled. The Bible also predicts what will happen in the end times
- Earth could not exist without a creator. You cannot create something from absolutely nothing. We are the created, there must be an entity that is the uncreated one.
- We live on a planet in a galaxy in a universe that contains billions of galaxies. Weirdly enough, our planet is the only planet that has life forms living in a sustained environment. If we were a degree closer or farther from the sun then I would not be typing this xanga entry.
- Archaelogy such as the Red Sea Crossing, the Mt. Sinai inscriptions, and Sodom and Gomorah give huge validity to the Bible.
- Isreal- Isreal is God's choosen people and Satan is God's primary enemy, why do you think Isreal is hated among their bordering countries? Why have they been killed, persecuted, and enslaved through over a 3000 year period? Because they are God' holy people against a world that is primarily under Satan's rule.
- I believe because the Holy Scriptures is not contradicting.
- Over 20,000 extent copies of the Bible, second to that is the Iliad with 700.
- I believe because it feels right (going by gut feeling is not the BEST reason to go off of, but you must have some in order to believe).

| Ok, So, to introduce the paragraph you are about to read... I found this on the back cover of the Japanese Film "Initial D". Now, it's been translated into english from Japanese (no duh), but someone did a really bad job. Here's what it said:
